This was taken at Hampton Beach, NH during the offseason. I had never been there before, it’s quite the place. This is of a close friend who is smart, strong, and fun – let alone very cute. She doesn’t like being photographed but I think this is a great photo of her. It makes me think of Harry Callahan and his portraits of Eleanor, not to compare – more of an influence or aspiration.
